Looking over the pictures from the last few days, there are a few things that didn’t make it in to previous posts. 

So here are some thematically unlinked photos.

We went to the Conciergerie a few days ago. Part of the old palace complex on Ile de la Cité, it’s best known as the jail where Marie Antoinette and others spent their final hours waiting for the guillotine. But it’s perhaps most interesting for having one of Europe’s oldest medieval halls.

No flash on these photos, so they’re a bit dim. (I’m not 100% sure that they had a rule against flash, but most sites do).

Molly wasn’t feeling well, so later in the day we took Kiera to the Jardin des Plantes so that she could see and draw wallabies.
