Today we went to Notre Dame Cathedral, where we saw both the church and the Treasures of Notre Dame, which is a separate collection of primarily sacred items from the history of the cathedral and of Paris. I didn’t take many pictures, and I don’t see much need to post pictures. If you want to see what Notre Dame looks like, you can look for pictures yourself.

But I did take a few pictures and have pasted them together into a banner for the blog. The two on the outside and the one in the middle come from the church proper. The two others come from the treasures.

Interestingly, while the signs in the church are all in both French and English, the signs in the exhibit of treasures are only in French except occasionally with a short tagline in English. So if you don’t read French, you will be able to admire their beauty and hopefully be able to tell what most of the items are, but you may not be able to find out their history.
